Dr. Gerhard Wagner is Assistant Professor at the marketing department of the University of Siegen. He is experienced researcher and author in the field of retailing, e-commerce and cross-channel integration. Dr. Wagner holds a PhD for his awarded dissertation on consumer behavior across electronic retail channels. He developed the multichannel e-commerce framework, which provides insights into how the expanding number of electronic devices and digital touchpoints changes the retailing landscape. His research offers implications for retailers how to strategically implement touchpoints and manage the interactions across electronic channels.
