As Vice President of Conrad International’s consumer
business, Daniel is leading the groups transformation into the new digital era
of retail. He is passionate about challenging the traditional business models
and sees the current dynamics in the business as a new opportunity for the
entire industry and believes that the threats of market consolidation will only
eat those, who are not able find and protect their niche and develop a unique
value proposition. According to Daniel, only those who act proactively, swiftly
and are able to reorganize structures and processes faster and more effectively
will survive.Daniel started to work for Conrad in autumn 2011. Until early
2017, Daniel was Director of the group’s B2C marketing primarily driving the
organisational change from a very decentralized into a centralized marketing
organisation and establishing new processes to make central and local marketing
departments most effective in a new environment and to be able to cope with the
challenges of the digital age. In 2018 he was nominated Vice President of
Online & Mailorder. Since May 2019 he is additionally responsible, as
Managing Director Conrad International, for the international part of the Conrad
group which consists of subsidiaries in 16 countries across Europe.
