Why we Sponsor eTail

At eTail Germany, we spoke to Ben Moll, Managing Director, and Tunahan Yildiz, Business Development Director at DAC Germany, to see why they continue their sponsorship investment year after year

Why did you choose to sponsor eTail Germany?

Ben: We have sponsored before; eTail Germany is one of the best opportunities to get in touch with new brands, which is also essential for our business and new business activities. Here we can talk directly to retail and e-commerce leaders, especially when hosting a workshop, which is a huge benefit.

Tunahan: DAC have sponsored many eTail events worldwide, so it makes sense for us to position ourselves next to eTail as a longstanding partner. When we sponsor next year, seeing familiar faces will be great.

Why did you choose to sponsor the eTail Germany Insights Playbook?

Tunahan: It’s all about the branding. When the average attention span is 7 seconds, having multiple touchpoints is essential. Whether it’s the playbook, on LinkedIn, a booth, or on a picture, they all build the whole construct. The playbook is just one part of that entire ecosphere.

Ben: Compared to last year’s eTail in Berlin where we didn’t sponsor the playbook, this time it’s helped get some traffic to our booth. Our brand is already more out there with attendees, just because we are on the report.

Tunahan: I agree, it’s helped with traffic. Overall, from a branding perspective, I believe it’s helped.

How have you found the quality of delegates on-site & have you attended any sessions while at eTail Germany?

Tunahan: The delegates have been very relevant to us, and speakers have all been very well selected and chosen. I’ve attended some sessions; I wish I could’ve attended more.

Ben: I have been to a few, and all the discussed topics are relevant to us and have helped us with our solutions.

Tunahan: We hosted a workshop earlier today and got around six follow-ups from that already. The good thing is we’re remembering the faces that attended, as we have an easier way in with them, and we still have plenty of time to follow up with them.

How would you rate the organisation of the event overall?

Ben: I would give it a 9.5; we’ve worked with you for a long time, and it’s been a pleasure. The whole team is amazing, and the organisation has been fantastic; they’re always around to help and support us with any questions or issues.

Sponsoring eTail will 100% positively impact our business goals this year, and we are already booked onto the connect event later this year.
